The Pre-Qualifiers kicked things off with daily rewards and early leaderboard battles as players sharpened their skills across regions. From there, the Qualifiers brought the intensity, ranking players by their top ten matches to secure a spot among the best.
We’re now in the Playoffs, where the top 50 players from each region (EU and US) are battling for their place in the live Finals. The top three from each region earn a Golden Ticket, for an all-expenses-paid trip to compete live on stage at a secret location.
The EU Playoffs have officially wrapped up, and we’re thrilled to congratulate CATS F1agy, CATS Marshalhhhh and TopcatFM TTV on earning their Golden Tickets to the Finals. The US Playoffs are now underway, with the regional champions set to be decided in tomorrow’s finals. As the competition reaches its peak, all eyes are on who will rise to claim the title of Legend of the WILD.

Metropolis
The foundation of Wilder World’s onchain economy took shape with the release of the recent Metropolis ZINE. A decentralized economic protocol designed to transform gameplay into programmable value, Metropolis links every asset, player action, and industry DAO into a unified system powered by the WILD token.
This framework formalized how value circulates through the Wilder ecosystem: from tokenized assets such as Land, Avatars, and Wheels, to staking, daily missions, and in-game transactions. With its deflationary design, every onchain interaction contributes to long-term sustainability and alignment between players, collectors, and creators.
On October 17, 2025, the upgraded WILD smart contract went live, introducing a native burn mechanism and marking the first official burn of 30,369 WILD, officially making the token deflationary. This upgrade set the foundation for Metropolis 2.0, the next phase of Wilder World’s sustainable, self-balancing in-game economy.

CYPHER
Shortly after Metropolis, Wilder World introduced CYPHER INC., a new U.S. Treasury vehicle designed to fund and accelerate growth across Wilder World and ZERO. CYPHER connects the Wilder ecosystem to global capital markets and supports the development of decentralized tools that empower creators across AI, XR, and blockchain.
Nine core projects were formally unified under the CYPHER umbrella, including Wilder World, ZERO, Z Chain, AURA, Labyrinth, wiami.fun, Nova and THE GRID, forming a vertically integrated creative superstack. CYPHER’s mission is simple: to ignite the creator within.

Expanding WILD’s Reach
Following these ecosystem launches, WILD entered a new phase of liquidity growth and accessibility.
The first major milestone came with WILD’s listing on Binance Alpha, marking Wilder World’s official entry into the Binance ecosystem. This achievement fulfilled the mandatory requirement for future spot and perpetual listings, expanding visibility to millions of Binance users.
Shortly after, we announced our partnership with Peapods Finance, launching the $pLONGWILD Pod, a DeFi integration that allows holders to earn yield on their WILD without selling. By podding WILD, users can generate rewards from real trading activity while staying fully exposed to WILD’s price, aligning the community and Treasury in a sustainable economic loop that supports long-term scarcity and liquidity.
To close the quarter, WILD joined PancakeSwap’s 5th Birthday Contest, participating in a $250,000 trading competition alongside leading tokens in DeFi.

Super Early Access Updates
Since the public release of Super Early Access, development has continued at full pace, with a new map in development, visual upgrades, and polish passes steadily refining the combat experience in Wiami.
DROID
Since the release of the DROID map, the level has undergone a focused visual polish. The update introduced enhanced lighting, refined material values, and improved reflections to create richer highlights and more immersive environmental detail. Meshes and textures were also updated to align with the latest overpaint concepts, resulting in a more cohesive and visually dynamic final version of the map.

The Trenches
Blockout
Trenches, the third multiplayer map developed for Super Early Access, began with a grey blockout that defined its layout, core structure, and early gameplay flow. This phase focused on refining movement, sightlines, and player navigation to establish a solid foundation for fast-paced, close-quarters combat before advancing into full production.
Assets and Materials
Once the layout was locked, development shifted to a new modular kit tailored specifically for the Trenches environment. While the geometry remained consistent with other areas, its distinct visual identity was defined through materials, textures, and a subdued color palette. This approach allowed for a wide range of visual variety while maintaining high performance and efficient data use.

Core environmental modules including walls, doors, and windows were followed by contextual assets such as pipes, cables, and electrical units in varying states of disrepair, helping to reinforce the map’s worn and weathered tone. Reusable interior modules were also developed for storefronts and urban spaces, designed to integrate seamlessly across the wider world, with cleaner variations appearing in regions like Nexus.
Environment Art
With both the contextual props and modular building kit completed, the next phase focused on testing and refining the assets inside the engine. Initial configurations were assembled without materials to evaluate the overall structure and identify where additional pieces were needed for curved walls and other unique conditions that emerged during testing.
Once the necessary adjustments were made, the finalized kit was propagated throughout the level. This stage marked one of the fastest points in development, with noticeable daily progress as the environment took shape.

From there, development followed a structured cycle of iteration, building with modules, updating materials, and running daily playtests to ensure that visual updates didn’t interfere with gameplay flow. Each test focused on collision accuracy, climbing and traversal paths, and ensuring uninterrupted gunplay across every part of the map.
As the larger forms and spaces were established, attention turned toward visual depth and storytelling. Materials were refined, interiors introduced, and the first pass of set dressing began. A new series of storefront modules and contextual assets were created to convey the in-world function of the district, filling naturally formed gaps across the map with structures that added purpose and atmosphere.

Once implemented, these assets were integrated throughout the level, creating a more layered and believable environment.
In the final phase, localized lighting passes and detailed set dressing with open-world contextual props completed the look. The result was a cohesive, lived-in space ready for Super Early Access release. One that balanced dense visual lore with smooth, uninterrupted combat flow.
