Introduction

Legend of the WILD is the first global combat showdown in Wilder World — a $100,000 tournament where every headshot, every streak, and every win brings players closer to glory. The competition launched alongside Super Early Access at Gamescom and is now underway, with Pre-Qualifiers already in motion, and the road ahead leading to the live Finals on September 24th at a secret location.

As the tournament heats up, we’ve listened closely to community feedback and introduced key adjustments to the format to ensure the experience is more accessible, competitive, and rewarding for all players.

Tournament TLDR

  • Prize Pool: $100,000 in WILD + exclusive Wilder World NFTs.
  • Pre-Qualifiers: August 20th – August 31st. Casual practice phase with daily prizes. Each region must hit 100 active players per server to unlock the Qualifiers.
  • Qualifiers: September 2nd – September 9th. One-week tournament stage with tournament scoring (uncapped XP). A player’s best 10 matches determine their final leaderboard rank.

What’s New in the Tournament

  • Extended Pre-Qualifiers: Now running from August 20th – August 31st to give players more time to prepare.
  • Ping Lock: There will now be a ping lock of 200.
  • Time Restrictions: Restricted play windows have been removed. Tournament servers are now open around the clock.
  • Compressed Qualifiers: Running September 1st – September 9th, instead of the original August 25th – September 9th schedule.
  • Servers Always Open: All servers will stay online 24/7 for training, practice, and casual play. Only tournament servers count toward official scoring.
  • Match Flow Update: Lobbies run casual until 8 players join, then a 2-minute buffer begins before the 10-minute match goes live.

Tournament Prizes

The Finals carry $48,000 in WILD for the Top 10 players. The Top 6 also earn a Golden Ticket — an all-expenses-paid trip to battle it out live on stage.

1st – 10th Place (Finals):

  • 1st Place: $25,000 WILD
  • 2nd Place: $10,000 WILD
  • 3rd Place: $5,000 WILD
  • 4th Place: $2,500 WILD
  • 5th Place: $1,500 WILD
  • 6th Place: $1,000 WILD
  • 7th – 10th Place: $750 WILD each

2nd – 50th Place (per region, assuming three regions — pending final number of qualifiers):

  • 1st and 2nd Place: Golden Ticket
  • 3rd Place: $250 WILD
  • 4th Place: $175 WILD
  • 5th Place: $125 WILD
  • 6th – 10th Place: $100 WILD each
  • 11th – 20th Place: $75 WILD each
  • 21st – 50th Place: $50 WILD each

51st – 250th Place (per region):

  • 51st – 150th Place: $25 WILD each
  • 151st – 250th Place: $10 WILD each

Daily & Periodic Rewards:
Throughout the tournament, players can also win exclusive Wilder World NFTs and bonus WILD drops through special daily and periodic challenges.

Pre-Qualifiers

The Pre-Qualifier period has now been extended through August 31st, giving players more time to prepare, sharpen their skills, and unlock their region to advance to the Qualifiers.

  • Dates: The Pre-Qualifiers run from August 20th through August 31st.
  • Regions: The stage is open across US, EU, PacAsia, and LatAm.
  • Requirement: To unlock the Qualifiers, each region must reach 100 active players per server during the Pre-Qualifier period.
  • Format: No official scoring.
  • Lobbies: Servers remain open 24/7, allowing players to drop in at any time for training, practice, or casual play.

Daily Rewards:

  • Day 1 (August 21st): NFT Pack Reward for most kills.
  • Day 2 (August 22nd): Lamborghini Temerario NFT for most headshots.
  • Day 3 (August 23rd): 5,000 WILD for most XP/Top of Global Leaderboard.
  • Day 4 (August 24th): NFT Pack Reward for highest KDR (minimum of 300 XP).

For the remaining pre-qualifiers, 1,000 WILD will be awarded each day based on different achievements. The specific criteria will remain internal and will only be revealed at the close of the pre-qualifiers to ensure fairness and prevent anyone from attempting to game the system. Daily pre-qualifiers will begin at 6:00 AM PST each day.

  • Day 5 (August 25th): 1000 WILD.
  • Day 6 (August 26th): 1000 WILD.
  • Day 7 (August 27th): 1000 WILD.
  • Day 8 (August 28th): 1000 WILD.
  • Day 9 (August 29th): 1000 WILD.
  • Day 10 (August 30th): 1000 WILD.
  • Day 11 (August 31st): 1000 WILD.

The Qualifiers

The Qualifiers have been compressed into a one-week period, running from September 2nd through September 9th. This stage is critical, as it determines which players will advance to the Playoffs and ultimately the live Finals.

  • Purpose: The Qualifiers decide which players move forward into the Playoffs and Finals, narrowing the field to the most skilled competitors.
  • Servers: Only tournament-designated servers count toward official scoring, while all other servers will remain open 24/7 for practice and casual play.
  • Match Format: Each match is a 10-minute, or first to 30 kills, Free-For-All PvP battle with 10 players per match on the maps The Beginning and DROID. A minimum of 8 players is required for a match to officially start.
  • Ping Lock: There will be a ping lock of 200.
  • Time Restrictions Removed: The previous time restrictions have been lifted, meaning servers are available 24/7 for maximum flexibility.
  • Tournament Scoring (Uncapped XP): Every action in a match contributes to the player’s score.
    • A kill adds +3 points.
    • A headshot adds +4 points.
    • An assist adds +2 points.
    • Achieving a 3-kill streak adds +3 points.
    • Finishing a match adds +2 points.
    • A death subtracts -1 point.

Only matches with 8 or more players are counted toward tournament scoring. Lobbies remain open for casual play until 8 players have joined; at that point, a two-minute buffer begins before the match goes live. After each match ends, the lobby resets and reopens for the next round.

A player’s best 10 matches are used to calculate their final tournament score. Regional leaderboards update automatically to reflect standings in real time.

Golden Ticket Allocation

Golden Tickets for the finals are allocated proportionally to the number of active players in each regional server. This approach ensures that regions with larger player bases are fairly represented, while still guaranteeing every region has a chance to send champions to the Finals.

For this tournament, a total of up to 6 Golden Tickets are available. Golden Tickets will be awarded in proportion to each server’s share of the overall player base. The distribution will be weighted per server, based on the player count to be calculated at then end of the qualifiers.

Playoffs & Finals

The Playoffs will see the top 50 players from each region advance into a high-stakes single-match elimination bracket, where only the strongest will move forward.

The Finals bring together the very best performers, with up to six Golden Ticket winners flown out for an all-expenses-paid trip to compete live on stage. These finalists will battle for glory, $48,000 in WILD, and the ultimate title of Legend of the WILD.

The live Finals will take place on September 24th at a secret location, with more details on the Playoffs and Finals format to be revealed once the Qualifiers have concluded.

Any breach of these rules — including cheating, exploiting, collusion, or abusive conduct — will result in immediate elimination from the competition.
