Welcome to The Compound

Welcome to The Compound

Wiami just handed you the keys. The Compound is live: your Apartment in the Trenches, directly attached to your Garage, with a full Gun & Gear Room. Alongside it, Daily Missions return with reward streaks, cleaner weapon swapping lands in the loadout, more of the city goes destructible, and four new vehicles hit the streets. Your place in the city is real now.

The Compound Is Open

Every player now has their own Apartment inside the Trenches, directly attached to their Garage. No other Wilder can enter. Drive in downstairs, take the elevator up, and you're home.

Attached to the apartment is a full Gun & Gear Room, built to display your collection: your gear and weapons, shown the way they deserve. This is the first version of the space, with more functionality to configure your display to come. The Compound is your private corner of Wiami, where everything you own lives under one roof. For now, every player has access to an apartment. Once real estate comes online, compounds tie directly into the real estate economy, and your place in the city becomes part of what you own.

Daily Missions Are Back

Daily Missions return across the Main Menu and In-Game Menu, now driven by a live task list, and they pay real WILD. You get three missions a day, and completing them earns you 1 WILD. This is the beginning. We'll continue to ramp up and configure WILD faucets and sinks as the game comes onchain.

Every day deals you a fresh hand. Your three missions are drawn randomly from a wider pool, from one-run challenges like closing breaches, extracting shards, and dropping agents to bigger all-day targets, across easy, medium, and hard tiers.

Streaks are live too. Check in daily to build your streak: miss one day and it survives, miss two in a row and it resets. And the economy feeds the grind: buying another player's marketplace listing counts toward your purchase and spending missions.

Swap Weapons in the Loadout

Drop a weapon onto an occupied loadout slot and the two swap clean. The replaced weapon and its attachments return to wherever the incoming weapon came from. No juggling, no detours through the Backpack.

Backpack and Stash, Tightened

Moving equipped items back into the Stash got a serious pass: items no longer disappear when the current Stash page is full, pages reload correctly, weapon stacks no longer duplicate after reopening the menu, and rejected drops no longer eat the item. Double-clicking an item in the Backpack no longer falsely locks loadout slots, and hover and click audio is corrected across both screens.

Gamepad Cleanup

Gamepad navigation is improved across Avatar, Weapon, and Vehicle Customization. The virtual cursor no longer freezes after pressing A, disappears while holding it, or leaves the viewport captured on release, and closing the customization path menu no longer breaks navigation. Mouse and keyboard are untouched.

The Quality Pass

The loading screen got a visual and technical rebuild, fixing fonts, layout, stray markup, and aspect-ratio issues. Underneath, UI and interaction systems are cleaned up to prevent focus loss, input problems, and runtime widget issues. Also addressed: the mission panel staying collapsed in the Open World, the settings screen lingering after death, and empty daily rewards being claimable.

The City Breaks Better

More of Wiami moves onto the destructible environment pipeline: Nexus, the Trenches and Trenches Skybridge, the Back Alley Hero Block, the Bank, the Black Market, the Pawn Shop, Self Storage interiors, and more. Props in these areas now behave as true destructibles instead of static geometry, and duplicate environment actors in reworked locations are cleaned out.

Four New Wheels

  • Wercedes W65 WMG (2012)
  • Wertone Wantide (2010)
  • WUMMER W1 Walpha (2006)
  • Worldsmobile Wurst 442 (1969)

Four more Wheels, four more ways to move through the city.

Marketplace Reliability

Buying a listing that was already withdrawn or purchased by another player now fails gracefully, without incorrectly paying the seller. The MY SALES grid no longer overlaps pagination.

What's Next

The Compound keeps growing, and so does the city. The map extends into more areas of Wiami. A proper entrance to your Apartment straight from the Trenches. New vehicles landing regularly. Display your items in the Apartment and Gun & Gear Room by your own custom configuration: your collection, arranged your way. Garage common areas connect player garages, with more seamless entry and exit. Deeper Ethereum mainnet connection brings your owned assets further into the game. More daily missions join the pool, and Replay functionality arrives to capture your best runs. More details as each system lands.

Wiami keeps getting more solid under your feet. The Compound is waiting. Your dailies are live. Get home, gear up, and get back out there.

With blessings,
The Wilders
